Homefield - windows

while walking around Homefield i developed a set of images focused on windows in the school i found it interesting how they had changed since the school had closed. designed and built to let air and light in, then boarded up and closed to keep people out after the closure, somewhat unsuccessfully as in some places as people had got in and vandalised them.

i like the way the way the light is let in and what we see is different in these photos because of the way they are smashed or boarded up, and it seems sort of odd to see windows that people don't want you to look through.
i wanted to experiment with laying the photographs out in a square shape as, in a way, arranging the photos like this makes them almost resemble a window with four panes.
